In Loving Memory of Denis Mbaka Obuba (1968–2026)

Denis Mbaka Obuba, a dedicated professional and beloved family man, passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 58. Born in 1968 in Bonyansiaga village, Nyachogochogo, he was the son of the late Obuba Nyoteyo and the late Eunice Moraa.

A Legacy of Service and Career.

Denis was well-known in the Nyamache community for his long-standing career in transport and logistics. Since 2015, he has served as the Transport Manager at Nyamache Boys Senior Secondary School. His professional journey also included roles at AIC Grace Junior Academy and construction work with H. Young LTD, following his early years in the matatu sector.

Family and Christian Life.

A man of deep faith, Denis was a lifelong member of the AIC Church at Nyachogochogo. In 1991, he married Mary Mbaka, and together they built a home grounded in wisdom and love. He was a devoted father to his six children—Rhoda, Rachael, Linet, Wycliff, Diana, and Nancy—and a proud grandfather to seven.

The family of the late Denis Mbaka Obuba will hold his final farewell according to the following schedule:

Vigil: Thursday, May 7, 2026, at his home in Bonyasiaga Rionyiego.

Burial Service: Friday, May 8, 2026, at the burial site in Bonyasiaga.

Denis will be remembered as a steady anchor, a mentor of high integrity, and a hero to his children.
