n Loving Memory of Eunice Kemunto Onsongo (1987–2026)

It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Eunice Kemunto Onsongo, who left us on March 27, 2026, at the age of 39. Eunice was a woman of remarkable strength, resilience, and quiet courage whose presence brought comfort and connection to all who knew her.

Early Life and Education

Born on January 1, 1987, to Wilfred Onsongo Mokomba and Ann Onsongo, Eunice was a blessing to her family from the start. She attended Tabaka Girls and St. John, where she completed her primary education with determination and a resilient spirit.

A Life Defined by Family

Eunice’s world revolved around her two beloved children, Yuviniah Mokeira and Brighton Masinde. As a devoted mother, she worked tirelessly to raise them with love and sacrifice. She was a cherished daughter, sister to Cleophas Mokomba, Geoffrey Osoro, and Vidah Kerubo, and a dear relative to many. Her legacy of love and support lives on through her children and the extended family she held so dear.

Final Journey

Despite facing health challenges beginning in late 2023, Eunice fought with immense bravery. She was admitted to Chiron Hospital on March 16, 2026, where she eventually passed away. We find comfort in the memory of her strength and the moments of joy she shared with us.

Funeral Arrangements

• Thursday, April 9, 2026: Body viewing and prayers at Chiron Mortuary followed by a night vigil at her home in Tabaka Ekona ya Nyabogotu.
• Friday, April 10, 2026: Holy Mass and final funeral service, followed by the burial at the family graveyard.
