Mama Eunice Magoma Osoro passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 46 following a tragic road accident along the Kisii-Migori road at Suneka. Born in 1980, she was a dedicated, devout Catholic Christian, a hardworking farmer, and a beloved pillar of her community in Mwanyaiyo Keboye, Bomariba.

Early Life & Background

The late Mama Eunice was the daughter of the late Mzee Henry Sikweya Oibi and the late Mother Mary Bochere Sikweya. She was initiated into adulthood in 1991 in Mwanyaiyo Keboye Sub-location, Bomariba. She was a sister to Josephine Osebe, Alice Bosibori, the late Abel Oibi, Justine Moi, Robert Onko, Evans Nyaiya, and Walter Kerubo.

Education & Career

She completed her basic education at Nyabimwa SDA Comprehensive School from 1988 to 1998 up to Class 8. Throughout her adult life, Mama Eunice was a very hardworking farmer, producing food to support her family and selling surplus to sustain her household and community.

Family & Legacy

Mama Eunice was happily married to Eng. Thomas Osoro of Bogiakumu, Mosiabano. Together, they were blessed with six children: Bs. Felix Mbaka Osoro,Eng. Tr. Paschal Osoro, Tr. Paustina Kerubo, Arch. Macadalene Bochere, Mary Moraa, Abel Nyakeya. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Catherine Kemunto and Hosea Ombui, and a proud grandmother to Viona Kerubo and Neema Bitutu.
