In Loving Memory of Rose Magoma Mariita (1992–2026)

Rose Magoma Mariita, a deeply loved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on March 30, 2026, at the age of 34. Born in 1992, Rose brought immense warmth, kindness, and a generous spirit to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Early Life and Education

Rose was born in Rigo A village, Rigo Sublocation, within Nyansongo Location, Sameta Subcounty in Kisii County. She was the cherished daughter of Meshack Mariita Mayieka and Priscah Mayomi Mariita. She began her academic journey at Sameta Intermediate Mixed Primary School in 1997, where she sat for her KCPE, and later completed her secondary education at Sameta PAG Mixed Secondary School in 2014.

A Devoted Mother and Family Pillar

In 2018, Rose entered into marriage and dedicated her life to raising her four beloved sons: Joshua, Levis, Steve, and Charles. She was an exceptionally hands-on, nurturing mother who built a legacy of faith, unity, dignity, and resilience for her young children.

She is survived by her parents, her children, and her siblings: Hon. Dennis Nyandege, Dr. Oimeke Mariita, Ezinah Moraa, Haron Momanyi, and the late Okenyuri.

Funeral and Burial Services

The farewell services celebrating the life of Rose Magoma Mariita were conducted with honor and dignity:

• Body Presentation: Leaving the KTRH Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
• Burial Location: The final interment rites and church service were held at her family home.

Rose will forever be remembered not by the cruelty of her sudden passing, but by the profound beauty, love, and quiet sacrifices that defined her life.
